mid-century house

This bespoke home was crafted for a jet setting couple who appreciate fine art and furniture. The house is largely low maintenance with durable fiber cement siding, metal roof, composite wood decking, and wire railing.

It looks great with a modicum of effort. The view of Howe Sound towards the mountains is spectacular and ever changing. The entry is welcoming and allows for a view to the back yard and out to the view.

The master bath is simple and clean with just enough luxury, matching the entire home.

An open concept dining and kitchen is poised for entertaining at times as well as everyday use. The living room emphasizes the view and ties effortlessly into dining and kitchen.

A collection of artwork and furniture pieces decorate this house and have been collected and carried from house to house of this mobile couple.

The design is kept clean and simple, a back drop to set off the art and furniture.

Frameless glass showers, sleek fixtures, modern flooring and cabinets adorn the home.

A wood and metal stair accentuates the circulation and acts as a focal point.

The clean lines continue on from the house with exposed aggregate patio lined with boxwood hedges and rough granite rip-rap retaining.

Verti-block is used to retain the rear yard. This concrete block is hollow, filled with free-draining rock, and planted above providing a nice green scape above and a crisp rockwall below.
